Okay, so here's the opposite end of my room. It also needs some help. Color for walls. Color for curtain over the closet. It's just SO boring! I've got the green light to do whatever I want. Some input would be nice. Thanks!
West view of room
Here's my room as it is now. I NEEDS some color. White, white, white. I have debated about painting one wall one color and the perpendicular walls a different color. I thought about all the walls one color. My palatte is open to anything. So... start thinking. The quiz will be up soon. Or just comment!
It needs curtains, bedspread, etc. Help me out here. It's pretty scattered. The sky's the limit!

Cool God things
So I haven't blogged in a while. It's amazing that even when cool God things happen, I still don't have time to blog. That's probably a good thing. :)
Cool God thing #1: A couple weeks ago a group of guys stopped into our coffee shop. Okay, normal so far. They were trying to figure out what we were about, as were we. (Long story super short) We discovered that they were a band traveling through and their van broke down. They needed a hook up with a lift to their gig (show) and a place to stay. God allowed us to be a blessing to them by feeding them, putting them up for the night and sending them the next day with a box of food. They unknowingly blessed us with the opportunity to be hospitable. They are super cool AND Canadian! I added their site to my sidebar. One big shout out to you rockers. Stay true!
Cool God thing #2: His work in me has been sweet. You know how when things are tough for a while you start to think that it's been that way forever? Then when the moment passes you realize that it was the best place to learn. Yeah, I think I'm coming out of the wilderness and seeing the ocean, and it's awesome. So if you are in the desert, there will come an oasis - eventually. If you are in a good place, be thankful and care for those struggling.
Cool God thing #3: I'm gonna blog again. :) I've got a project I need some input on, so I need your help. Coming soon... new quiz and new blog.
Love God cuz He rocks!

My new hobby
This isn't the guitar I play, but I don't have a sweet picture of that one. My friends of Kindred will be pleased to learn that I have been making an attempt at learning guitar. Slowly but surely. Guitar is one of those things that everyone makes look so easy. I doubt that I will ever play as well as I'd like, but at least now I have an instrument to back up my singing. Come by Lampost sometime. We'll jam. ;)
P.S. If you want to hear this guitar make noise, go to http://therestorationproject.com. This is a picture of Tracy's guitar.

I know, I know
I haven't blogged in LONG time. Those of you who care- I'm sorry you even check this site. I have some stories from spring break. I'll get on that. Gotta get the pictures downloaded 'n' stuff. Alright. I'm still here. XOXO

Do you strive?
Have you ever been so impassioned by something that you threw every ounce of your being into it? Have you ever given all that you had to reach one goal?
Normally I don't follow sports especially since recently my opinion has lowered as athletes have shown quite a bit of unsportsmanlike attitudes. But things change when my siblings compete. In my family life stops when state wrestling starts.
Today I watched my brother put every ounce of strength into his match. Every muscle. Ever desire. Everything that was in him was striving toward his goal of beating his opponent. As he strived we shouted our encouragement. Our emotion rose as we fought the fight with him. He struggled. He fought. We shouted. We aggonized in his struggle.
Wrestling reminds me so much of life right now. Many things in my life have me tied in knots. Mostly sins and shortcomings. I struggle against them. I fight. But do I put everything into it? Do I reach for the strength that only God can provide? I do not strive every moment to live like Christ. What would our lives look like if we had completely and totally focused on Jesus and knowing Him? Do we hear the encouragement of those that have gone before? God has blessed me with a number of people who are, in their own ways, shouting encouragement and aggonizing in my struggles.
So today as I watch my brother again push himself to unbelievable lengths, my heart will reflect on my own goal. Strive. Nothing in this world has more value than Him.
"Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me." Philippians 3:14

My roomie
Meet Marissa. She is my best roomate. Marissa has taught me a lot about life and loving people and listening. I tend to be a talker, and this girl is teaching me to return the favor. We definately learn from each other.
We live above Lampost in an apartment with two guys, and I think that we keep each other sane. (Or we add to each other's insanity, I haven't decided which.) It's fun as we have learned to play together as well as work and live together. Marissa has been good for me. I love you, 'Riss!

Welcome to my place
Is it time to blog again? I don't know. I think I'm going to get this thing going and just do what I can to make it somewhat cool. Now is the time to tell everyone that I actually have a blog and maybe they should read it. If they want to waste a little time and read some stuff from me. So the idea, people, is that I want to stay in contact with you, but I don't have a ton of free time working at this place. Please comment and email and let me know what's happening in your life and don't be mad if I haven't emailed back in over a month. (JULES) Here goes nothing.
Welcome to my blog. The place where we see Sarah feebly attempt to put together a page of some kind. I will put more pictures on here. And no more excuses. I will try and keep it to something at least slightly interesting even if it is just photos of stuff around here. For those of you who live far away from me you will get a peak into my life here. So read on and check it out...

So I was told...
I was told by someone who shall remain nameless that I wasn't posting often enough. His initials are TD, but I don't think that his nickname is touchdown. Anyways, he told me that I needed to be posting more often, so in place of a super great post (which I have yet to write) I have added some fun stuff to my sidebar thanks to my boys. Have fun! Thanks, TD, for lighting a fire under me. I'll work harder on this thing since someone is reading it.
